Diagnosis
Diagnosis is made on the clinical signs and the grazing or medical history. Blood tests should
be taken to confirm or rule out the presence of liver disease. The field should be checked for
any poisonous plants.
Treatment
• Wherever possible, the cause should be removed. Medication with any suspect drugs
should be stopped and plants capable of causing photosensitization should be removed
