Multiple Projects
Project Narrative
Horst Construction has partnered with Shire, Inc. on a variety of projects on their Wayne, PA campus. The
first project involved a 200,000 sf corporate office fit-out that required interior demolition and renovation
of two large office buildings and the construction of a skyway bridge connection between the two buildings.
Subsequent projects included meticulous upgrades and renovations to their Data Center, creation of a new
Corporate Communications Center, building a Conference Center, Board Room, and Fitness Facility. In all of these
projects, Horst worked with Shire’s facilities management and leadership teams to develop plans to maximize
efficiency and safety of the jobsite while minimizing impacts to ongoing business activity.
