29. Pointing of
precast slabs in
crude dykes &
Concreting for
earthern dykes
a. All earthen dykewall lining to be replaced with 75mm thick concrete with minimum construction joints.
Provision for 500 micron HDPE lining shall be given below the concrete slabs to prevent intrusion of rain
water in to the earthen dyke. Also 3mm dia. Wire mesh reinforcement shall be provided in concrete slabs
which will turn increases the durability of the structure.
Action: Maint- Civil Target: Continuous
