plane throughout the rotation. When the legs rise from the ground, they can never exit these invisible walls (transverse plane), and should al- ways remain straight, bending and exiting the invisible walls only when touching the ground. (img. 2 - 12)
At all times, the hip of the leading leg should pull the oppo- site hip.
3. Perform preparatory drill #2 without the arms touching the ground.
It is important to note that preparatory drill #2 is performed on the ground, which may prevent us from making a com- plete rotation. Once we transfer this movement to the rope we will be able to complete the full rotation. We could also perform preparatory drill #2 on a vaulting box, gymnastics box, or a tall landing mat, making a complete rotation.

4. To memorize the movement pattern in a grad- ual and correct way, to help find the planes and body lines needed for the skill, and to feel the en- ergies of the rotation from the starting position on the rope, we will perform only half a roll-up. Applying the whole technique, as soon as we reach the rope with the leading hand, we will re- turn to the initial position. This movement should be repeated several times, constantly maintain- ing abdominal engagement to avoid strangula- tion and to focus on the energy of rotation and timing of movement.
