65% of colleagues said they had regular 1-2-1s, while 81% said they valued/would value them. A common theme in the comments is that there is a big appetite for progression to achieve higher rewards.
72% of people listed sick pay as their top benefit, followed by more holidays at 28% and then permanent Home/ Hybrid working at 52%. When we asked colleagues to list their top 3 benefits in order of preference, sick pay and more holidays appeared in the top 3 in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd ranked orders. The modern office environment at 11% was towards the bottom of the list.
When sorting through comments and responses, it emerged that this may be an ambiguous term, covering everything from decor to systems and hardware. More breaks were at the bottom of the benefits list with 9%. It was anticipated that this may be more important in some areas than others, but the results returned a mix of departments across the whole company requesting more breaks, not just one specific area.
