CONVENTIONAL & SENIOR APARTMENTS
Freedom from responsibilities of home ownership. These communities offer
accommodations and amenities designed specifically for older adults. May
offer subsidies, recreational activities but generally no assistive care.
ACTIVE ADULT
A more compact, low maintenance residence often offering aging in
place features. Access to leisure and recreational activities and generally
no assistive care.
INDEPENDENT LIVING
A variation on the above in generally a more structured environment. Onsite
social and recreational activities and again limited access to assistive care.
Ahana Muth
Ahana Muth attended Northeastern University in Boston.
Her love affair with marketing and sales started with
information technology studies in 2002 before she switched
to health care in 2011. Ahana has a long history of building
mutually profitable relationships through education, needs
assessment, trust building and project implementation. She
had her first child and began working at The Oaks at Whitaker
Glen in historical Five Points just over a year ago. Most recently she received a
promotion and is marketing for Whitaker Glen (independent living), The Oaks at
Mayview (a health care center) and PruittHealth Raleigh (health care center). She
resides in Wake Forest with her husband, daughter and four
