II. ADEQUATE AND RELEVANT PROJECTS/ ACTIVITIES TO ACHIEVE OBJECTIVES

                       A.  Management of Instruction


                       Successful teaching is the provision of a learning experience that is accessible to

               all  students  regardless  of  their  individually  favored  learning  preferences  or  styles
               (Alexandros Paraskevas &Marianna Sigala 2004).


                       The BS Hotel and Restaurant Management/BS Hospitality Management program
               aims to produce Tourism and Hospitality professionals who are who are equipped with

               knowledge and skills needed in the industry in order to help in sustainable development
               as  the  key  to  optimal  tourism  growth,  address  manpower  needs  by  becoming  an

               entrepreneur, a globally competitive professional by adapting international standards and

               practices to address issues that arise from market imperfections and the challenges of
               globalization. It is also designed to allow flexibility and creativity on the part of higher

               educational institutions (CMO No. 30 Series 2006).

                        The administration assures that the head of the college particularly the College

               Dean and Program Chairperson are responsible enough for the implementation of the
               curriculum. They also adapt changes in the curriculum revision to address the global

               trends in the program and looking for National and International linkages as partners to

               carry out the attainment of the program objectives. Involvement of the partner industries
               to the curriculum revision take place to solicit their ideas and suggestions to ensure that

               changes made on the curriculum is accurate and relevant.

                       On September 27, 2017, the College Dean and Program Chairperson attended the

               curriculum revision in the main campus and in that S.Y. also the curriculum used is the

               amalgamated curriculum of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management
               (BSHRM) which was implemented from S.Y. 2013-2014- S.Y. 2020-2021 and after the

               curriculum revision is the implementation of the newly approved  curriculum which is the
               Bachelor of science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) from S.Y. 2018-2019 to present.

               The students who are using the BSHRM curriculum will be graduating this S.Y. 2020-

               2021 while the students who are using the new BSHM curriculum are on their 3  year
               level already.


                       In the BSHRM Curriculum, it has the following

               1. The General Education Courses is equivalent to one semester but offered in different

               year  and  semester.  The  General  education  and  legislated  courses  followed  existing

               requirements. The CHED Memorandum No. 04, series of 1997 (GEC-B; 51 units is the
               recommended track for this course
