The fact that you faced up to your fate and paid everybody at some pain to yourself
will stand you in good stead in the future.
This is especially true if yours is the sort of business where everybody knows
everybody else.
Having said all that, it never ceases to amaze me how some business people go
bankrupt time after time. They cheat and chisel people. They get blackguarded on
consumer tv. programmes. Yet they just move somewhere else and pop up again at
their old tricks. My only hope is that the stress and strain of the lies and deceits
causes them an early retirement.
