The AIC building will remain temporarily closed for the
winter season. We will be happy to provide snowshoes
for your winter wander on our 3.5 miles of trails. Trails
are always open from dawn until dusk. Email
(aic@esf.edu) a snowshoe request in advance of your
visit, and if we have staff and snowshoes available, we
will meet you for a contactless handoff. A $5/pair dona-
tion is suggested. We have sizes for all members of your
party so everyone can enjoy a winter outing.

We are pleased to be part of NYS Parks, Recreation &

Historic Preservation First Day Hikes on January 1st.

This year’s hike will not be guided, but we encourage
you to snowshoe the 2 miles up breathtaking (in a

good way) Goodnow Mountain. AIC staff will be in
the Goodnow Mountain parking lot from 10 to 2 to

provide snowshoes, hot chocolate, and a campfire to

warm you before or after your hike. All socially
distant, of course!
