Scott Sabo is a Forest Ranger for NYS DEC, living and working
here in Newcomb. He has been a search and rescue professional
for over a decade, working throughout the lower 48 states in the
wildest places he can find. He is currently a swiftwater rescue
instructor, wildland fire squad boss, and a lead instructor for the
Forest Rangers “tracking for search and rescue” program. When
not working in the wilderness, Scott can be found playing in it.
Canoeing, rafting, camping, backpacking, skiing, and chasing
trout. Welcome to Newcomb Scott!
