The Town of Newcomb would like to con-
gratulate Barbara Blum on becoming an Ex-
plorer in the Experience Newcomb Patch
Program. Barbara is 74 years old. She has
climbed all 4000’ mountains in Maine, Ver-
mont, New Hampshire, and New York! She
has also hiked the Catskill 35 (in Summer
and Winter). Barbara thoroughly enjoyed
the challenge. She is trying to complete any
challenge out there! She really likes when
Town’s make the challenge family friendly.
She also likes how we have options, differ-
ent patches, etc.. She is already ramping up
to start our next level! She has many more
patches to get!
