First Day Hike – Goodnow Mountain
Saturday January 1, 9:30 am

In partnership with New York State Parks and the Department of Envi-
ronmental Conservation, we invite you to kick off 2022 with a hike up
Goodnow Mountain. Meet at the AIC between 9:00 and 9:30 for
coffee and pastries, then we will head to the Goodnow Mountain
parking lot for the 2 mile hike to the summit. There will be time at the
top to climb the historic fire tower and enjoy the view of the High
Peaks. Snowshoes provided. Preregistration required.

Winter Tracking Workshop
Saturday January 8, 10:00 am — 12:30 pm

Learn the basics of track identification during an inside presentation
before a guided exploration of the AIC trails to observe how animals
move and to identify the prints they leave behind in the snow. Snow-
shoes provided. Preregistration required.

Full Moon Snowshoe
Sunday January 16th, 7:00 pm — 9:00 pm
