ClassList
Classlist enables you to contact other parents safely and securely and to keep up to date with events organised by the Form Reps or HSPA. It is a UK site that has been set up by parents, for parents and is completly free
to use. As a school we have checked where and how the data will be stored and are happy with the levels of security in place. The online system allows you to enter, manage and update the personal information that you wish to share with your daughter’s year group. So that our site remains just for parents of the school, all requests to join Classlist are checked by the School with our database before they are validated.
You can join now by visiting https://www.classlist.com and searching for Headington School. After your request has been validated, you can log in and use the site, either through a web-browser or using an app (for iOS or Android). We believe that Classlist will help to create a welcoming and engaging community and would encourage parents to be a part of it. If you have any questions about the system, please contact rbowen@headington.org.
Link books and pupil planners
Link books (EYFs and Key stage 1)
All girls will receive a home-school link book which goes home each day in the book bag. This is to enable both teachers and parents to communicate any late changes to arrangements and it is checked every morning.
Pupil planners (Key stage 2)
From Year 3, girls are provided with a Headington Prep School pupil planner. Pupils are always very excited to receive their copy at the start of the year and it is important to ensure they have it with them for all lessons.
The planners include the following information for the girls:
• Calendar dates
• Checklists for school uniform, PE kit and lesson equipment
• E-safety advice
• Homework advice and the e-hub address
• Their personal targets
• Charts for their house point stickers
• A diary to record notes, reminders and information on homework
• Space to reflect on their learning
• Areas for parents to write notes to class teachers
