Travel to school
Headington is committed to reducing the use of cars for journeys to school in order to:
• create a safer school environment
• provide more exercise for pupils and staff – leading to better health and itness
• create a greater awareness of environmental sustainability
• reduce trafic congestion in and around the School
• promote cleaner air around the School and help reduce the School’s carbon footprint
The following information on school bus routes, travelling by car, cycling or walking may be helpful. Please also see our website at www.headington.org/travel for details, maps and information on local buses.
The roads in and around Headington are very busy during the rush hour and there is no parking available at the Prep School. We therefore strongly recommend that parents take advantage of one of the following schemes.
