Public buses
There are public bus services convenient for Headington School with a variety of routes, including cross-city routes and Park and Ride services. A ‘key’ may be purchased from the Oxford Bus Company on 01865 785400 or thekey@oxfordbus.co.uk. For more information please visit www.oxfordkey.co.uk. Private buses for children in Year 3 – Year 6
The Oxford Schools Bus Partnership
Headington has been working with a group of local independent schools for several years to address the challenges faced by parents when transporting children to school in Oxford and formed a company, the Oxford Schools Bus Partnership, to provide a shared network of routes. There are currently ten OSBP routes across the county, serving all seven schools - d’Overbroeck’s, Headington School, Magdalen College School, Oxford High School, Wychwood, The Dragon and Rye St Antony.
Our private bus services will be available to children in Year 3 – Year 6. Girls will be escorted by a member
of staff to the Senior School Dining Room, where they will be given refreshments before they travel home. A tracking system on the buses will allow members of staff to know when the bus will be arriving at the School, so girls will not need to wait outside for the bus. Parents will also be able to track their daughter’s bus along its route.

Headington School minibuses
Headington operates three minibuses on routes not currently served by the Oxford Schools Bus Partnership, the West Minibus to Witney, East Minibus A to Speen and East Minibus B to Beaconsield. These are also for children in Year 3 and above. If you have any enquiries, please contact transport@headington.org.
