Clubs
Headington Prep School offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities at various times before, during and after school, including a large number of sports clubs and music ensembles/groups. Some of the activities incur an extra charge and, for these, all fees are charged in arrears and will appear on your end of term account. Missed sessions will be charged for unless cancelled due to a teacher’s unforeseen absence.
Should you wish to discontinue your daughter’s participation in any optional extra activities, we must receive notice in writing by half term to become effective from the start of the following term.
Range of extra activities
You will receive information about the wide range of activities and clubs before term starts, along with instructions on how to sign up for these online. Some examples of activities on offer at Headington Prep School are listed below:
• Arts and Crafts
• Chess and Bridge
• Coding and Minecrafting
• Dance (graded ballet, Headington Dance Academy, streetdance)
• Languages (German, Italian and Spanish)
• Music groups and individual music lessons
• Drama
• Sports (such as fencing, hockey, rounders, swimming and tennis)
• Touchtyping
The Actvities Brochure can be found on our website at www.headington.org/prep/prep-life/activities. Please note that to withdraw from a paid activity, half a term’s notice is required in order to cancel your daughter’s attendance.
