no us, no them. We are here to extinguish the sense of us, the sense of them. We are here to extricate—to extricate ourselves from the sense of ownership. We are here for the liberation of our mind; the relinquishment of the physical and mental phenomena; the relinquishment of thoughts; the relinquishment of unwholesomeness (akusala); the relinquishment of the sense of self; the relinquishment of de lements. Relinquish them all; to enable us to liberate our mind. But, sometimes liberation requires endurance, fortitude. Liberation requires mindfulness, concentration, wisdom, in order to contemplate the truth of all nature. This will allow us to completely let go of attachments (upadana).
I believe that practitioners now have an understanding of the way to practice vipassana. Today’s sermon has lasted for an appropriate time, so I shall stop at the current juncture. May all practitioners progress in dhamma. Dhamma greetings.
