Wilful Contemplation of Natural Conditions

Dhamma greetings to all practitioners. Please sit in a relaxed manner. Today is the fth day of the vipassana practice. It is also the Fifth of December. Generally, every year we would show our respect to His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol on his royal birthday. But, this year His Majesty has already passed. Let us practice dhamma in order to offer the merits for the bene ts of His Majesty again, after having already done so this morning. Now, let us practice dhamma together. Please sit with a comfortable posture—this will delay the emergence of sensations (Translator’s note: Pain).
When practicing dhamma in order to create wholesomeness (kusala); in order to make our mind full of wholesomeness—so that we can attain the power of the wholesomeness to send our merits and wholesomeness. Whoever does it should employ the same principle. Make our mind relaxed or elevate our mind into emptiness. Start with making our mind empty and unburdened—free from
