GTBank Gambia – 1 Runner Up at

Interbank Championship 2020

The tournament organized by the Central Bank of
The Gambia in memory of the Late Governor
Jatta, aims to foster camaraderie among banks in
The Gambia.

As GTBank competed in the 2020 edition of the
tournament, the Orange Boys ended its first game
with a 1 all draw against Standard Chartered
Bank. The second game against FBN ended with
a goalless draw, but the team still made it to the
second round of the tournament after emerging
second in their group with 2 points. After a
goalless draw in regulation time during the quarter
finals and semifinals against FIBank and Ecobank
respectively; GTBank won both games through a
penalty shootout and rose to the finals.

For the third time in a row against Access Bank, GTBank Gambia Limited emerged as 1 Runners up in the 2020
st
edition of the Late Governor Famara Jatta Inter Bank Football Tournament. Access Bank put up a respectable
challenge in the final game and won 3-1.

Save & Win 2018 Grand Final

There were four categories of winners in this
edition of GTBank’s “Save and Win Promotion”. In
total 118 customers won various prizes of the
various categories that were designed to cater for
every customer.

Category 1 customers were to maintain an
average balance of D1,000.00 to D10,000.00 in
their saving accounts for three months to stand a
chance of being among 10 quarterly winners of a
bag of rice and 10ltrs vegetable oil.

Winners in category 2 were expected to maintain
an average balance of D10,001.00 to D50,000.00
for 3 months to stand the chance to win quarterly
prices of 2 bags of rice, 20ltrs vegetable oil, 25kg sugar and a set of detergent.

Category 3 winners were to maintain an average balance of D50,001 to D200,000.00 to be among 3 winners each
quarter of a motorbike, LG fridge freezer and a 32 inch LED TV.

Over the duration of the promotion, 50 customers won category 1 prizes, 50 won category 2 prizes, 15 won Category
3 prizes and 3 won the grand prizes.

Mr. Malick Boye was the winner of the Grand Prize of GTBank Gambia Save and Win Promotion. The young
businessman won a 3 bed room house located at the TAF Brufut Gardens. Malick was presented keys to the home at

a colorful ceremony held on Friday 31 January 2020 alongside the second Grand Prize Winner who won a return
ticket to Dubai plus $2000.00 pocket money and third prize winner who won a luxurious sitting room furniture set.
