Ms Fatou Jeng – Legal Adviser and Company Secretary
Ms. Fatou Jeng is the Legal Adviser and Company Secretary of Guaranty Trust Bank Gambia
Limited. She was part of the first cohort of the University of The Gambia, Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
students and as such holds an LLB. She also pursued her Barrister-at-Law (BL) program in The
Gambia and was called to The Gambian Bar as Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of
The Gambia in 2013. Ms. Jeng commenced her legal career as a First Class Magistrate in 2012
and has also served as Chairperson of the Children’s Court. During the same period, she has
also served as a part-time lecturer in Company and Tort Law at the Gambia Technical Training
Institute (GTTI) Diploma Program. Ms. Jeng has equally served as a deputy legal adviser of
Ecobank Gambia Limited from 2014 to 2017.
