F. Summary of the findings and recommendations on Area IX

(Laboratories) of the Self- survey

• STRENGTHS

1. Available multimedia facilities in the university can adequately address the
needs of Doctor of Public Administration students.

2. Internet facilities provided to students is a strong support to graduate
education.

• AREAS NEEDING IMPROVEMENT

1. Periodic monitoring and inventory multi-media equipment is not observed.

2. Drainage system particularly those in buildings with laboratory is not
upgraded.

3. Comprehensive waste management is not yet imposed in the whole university
addressing concerns in laboratory wastes and is not noted in the waste

management plan.
