Mitel Phone
We are modernising the Trusts telephony system to enable staff to deliver their service in a more agile way with access to Trust systems anywhere and at any time.
Replacing our old and outdated telephone (Telephony) system with a modern infrastructure cloud based solution is essential. This new system will be fully supported and maintained by BT/Mitel hereby reducing faults and speeding up fixes and will bring many additional features to support agile working such as:
Working from remote locations / home
Electronic telephony directory (able to find people extensions)
Call centre capability
Enhanced switchboard / Operating console capabilities
Concept one number – one telephone number to contact you (combining your desk phone ext. to you mobile number)
Softphones (phones working through your IT devices).
We will start the process of moving our existing telephony system over to the new system – this will take place late-February and will be carried out in phases. We’ll keep all existing telephone extensions in place in order to limit any potential service disruption. There will be various training and support options available to staff including floor walking, videos and training guides.
The ICT Service Delivery team is responsible for the fulfillment of ICT delivery functions including a wide range of tasks, dealing with all hardware request including:
Desk phones
Desktops
Headsets
iPads
Laptops
Memory devices
Mobiles-new
Mobile replacements
Monitors and printers requests
We also ensure that all Service Delivery and Service Support activities are effectively carried out, whilst maintaining a highly customer focused service.

Log your request by completing the ICT Procurement form and email it to ICT. ServiceDesk@candi.nhs.uk
