Jonathan Ducore
Jonathan M. Ducore is co-director of the Hemophilia Treatment Center, as well as
Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the University of California (UC), Davis. After
graduating from Long Branch High School, Jonathan was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and
received his B.S. from Rutgers University having graduated Summa Cum Laude with
Distinction in Zoology. He then earned his M.D. from Duke University School of
Medicine, in Durham, North Carolina and went on to his post-graduate training at the
University of Cincinnati Medical Center and Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Cincinnati,
Ohio. In 2002, Jonathan received his M.P.H. degree from the University of California
(Berkeley).
Jonathan specializes in tumors of the brain, bones and soft tissues as well as cancer
epidemiology and pediatric chemotherapy. He actively performs clinical trials for
pediatric cancer, hemophilia and sickle cell disease. Jonathan is Board-certified in
pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology. He has studied cancer incidence among
immigrant Southeast Asian children and has served as a Texas Department of Human
Services and Crippled Children's Program consultant, and Medical Board of California
expert reviewer.
