GF Spaghetti Squash Makes 4 Servings
Ingredients
1 Pound Spaghetti Squash
1 Pound Ground Turkey
1/2 Pound Italian Sausage (removed
from casing)
2 Cups Jarred Tomato Sauce 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt
Toppings
Fresh Basil
Mixed Italian Cheese

Poke the spaghetti squash with a fork or knife around the whole surface area. Microwave for 7 minutes (If you have a larger spaghetti squash microwave 3 minutes longer).
2 Remove squash from the microwave with a towel to prevent the steam from burning you. Cut in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds with a fork and discard. Then run the fork along the squash to create strands. Set aside.
3 In a medium sized sauté pan on medium heat brown the ground turkey and sausage and break it up into small pieces with a spatula. Once the meat is cooked through, discard any excess fat. Add the tomato sauce and garlic salt. Cook for an additional 2 minutes and serve over spaghetti squash.
4 Top with cheese and fresh basil.
Spaghetti Squash is a great gluten free option for pasta dishes.
