CHAPTER 2: GET THE BEST EDUCATION

THAT YOU CAN

You don’t know what you don’t know. But
learning, education and knowledge can surely help
you make a better future. “Momma said, Stupid is
as stupid does.” Not completing your education or
not doing your best would be unwise. It is not wise
to sell your education short! You got this! And you
can do this well. Give it your very best effort.

Wise men store up knowledge. Proverbs 10:14

Step number two is to get the best education that

you can. I know, for young people, sometimes it

seems very difficult to go to school. It can be
challenging. Sometimes the courses required are

not the most exciting things in the world. And there

are other things to do that might seem more
enjoyable. But education pays and pays well.

Educational level is directly related to

income. Education opens doors to higher income.

In the US census, this is shown very clearly.
Median incomes in 2006 show the following

approximations:

High school dropouts earn $553 per week or
$28,756 per year on average.
