worth about $1.2 MILLION! And it is simple. You

really don’t need to save millions. You could begin

with a small account. That in turn could grow into
             a much larger account, even a million-dollar

account. Perhaps saving is not always easy, but

simple it is. Just open a savings account and set
up automatic deposits from your checking account

or by payroll deduction from your job. Payroll

deduction is among the very best ways to save.
Once you signup the saving is automatic, and you

never handle that money. You may have noticed

that cash you receive in your hands will usually
vanish as it gets spent. Money you never touch

removes that temptation, and thus the money goes

where you intend it to go, on purpose.

Not everyone will succeed. But everyone can

succeed. If you don’t try, you certainly won’t save

much. Money is just too easy to spend. When you
do try you may fall short but will still be better off

and maybe financially independent. Would you feel

bad if you had “only” $800,000 worth of assets?
You could be wealthy at that level depending on

your needs. Sure, would beat $0.

But suppose you fall short and “only” build
                                                                      59
