FORMING DISCIPLES
“A WEEK LONG PARTY FOR JESUS”
That’s how one participant summed it up in 2015. Every
three years, Lutheran youth gather together in one place
for worship, exploration, service, and consideration of
God’s calling in their lives. Through music, speakers,
Bible study, and walking (lots of walking!) teens and
adults practice growing in grace.

WHAT IS THE ELCA
YOUTH GATHERING?
A packed sports arena for worship will do that to you.
Perhaps the author of the book of Hebrews says it best:
“Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without
wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. And let us
consider how to provoke one another to love and good
deeds...encouraging one another” (Hebrews 10:23-25).
