King of Glory will send 19 high schoolers and 7 adult leaders to
New Orleans, Louisiana to participate in the “once in a lifetime”
experience to not only learn about the church, but to BE it, and
to imagine what, by God’s grace and their involvement, it could

1987 (when three Lutheran
churches merged to form one
denomination), according to
church historians,

predecessor church bodies that
made up the ELCA had a rich
tradition of gathering young
people and their adult leaders
every three years to experience
the love of Christ and an
opportunity to grow within their
faith.
