Each Sunday, you may not realize that a series of small things are happening upstairs that add up to one big product! Hidden up in the balcony are volunteers ensuring that the cameras are seeing the action, song lyrics are appearing on the screen, and that sound is being recorded. KOG began streaming worship in September 2020 and trains volunteers to work the equipment so that the good news of Jesus Christ can be shared beyond our walls. A whole new way to welcome all!
Jackson Stricker is 12 years old and 6th grader at Ben Steele Middle School. Bennett Stricker is only nine and a 4th grader at Arrowhead Elementary. Did you know that these brothers are part of the Technology Ministry Team at King of Glory? It is because of their volunteering (and the work of other volunteers) that the worship service is available online each Sunday.
Bennett and Jackson got involved with this ministry after their Dad (Jeremy Stricker) asked them if they could help. They knew it was a big job, but learning the steps slowly and with Dad's mentoring they now confess, "it's not super hard."
"Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and
conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12
