Viking Polaris
Viking Polaris is a sister ship to Viking Octantis, with the two
identical expedition ships providing an ideal platform to explore Two-storey Edge villa - complete with its own plunge pool
the world in adventurous style, with a host of activities including
two submarines, high speed special operations boats and scores A Viking Polaris Junior Suite
of zodiacs. Travel & Cruise Weekly was on board Polaris during
a voyage to Antarctica last year, and the experience was truly Accommodation
unforgettable.
Carrying just 378 guests, Viking Polaris offers a range of staterooms starting at Nordic
Balconies and Deluxe Nordic Balconies and then onto Penthouses, Explorer Suites and the
ultimate Owner's Suite. All offer king-size beds, a 55" flat screen TV, USB ports and large
private bathrooms - plus sweeping views via floor-to-ceiling glass which can be lowered
to form an open-air al fresco lookout. Purified water is refilled daily, and premium Freyja
toiletries are provided along with a mini-bar with soft drinks, water & snacks. There's also a
floor-to ceiling drying closet for all that damp expedition gear, and a huge amount of storage.

Multiple dining options are available
aboard Polaris, with all available to
guests without any extra charge. For
an elegant dining experience The
Restaurant offers classic dishes along
with regional specials, while Manfredi's
Italian Restaurant provides the
authentic favourites of Tuscany, Rome,
Naples and more.
The World Cafe offers breakfast, lunch
and dinner buffet-style, but with the
addition of a sushi and seafood bar
in the evening as well as a grill for
on-demand steaks, lobster, burgers
and more. Mamsen's is a cafe-style
venue featuring Norwegian specialties
including some amazing cakes, while
