How to Write an Industry Analysis?

Begin by writing a concise overview of the industry.

Highlight the nature of the industry and the historical
factors that have impacted it. In particular detail the

               industry’s growth potential.

Examine the economic factors relating to the industry and
include an evaluation of the competitors and their

               operations.

Look at the products and services on offer within the
industry and anything that might influence them in the

               future.

Highlight factors like geographical growth, consumer base,

price fluctuations, past performances, and income
               projections.

Use existing financial data and industry understanding to

forecast industry growth for the next five or ten years.

Examine analytical models such as PESTEL and any other
appropriate diagnostic tools to aid and support your views.

Lastly, give long-term and short-term valuations impacting

the industry such as any foreseeable problems impacting

the business in a negative fashion and potential corrective

               measures.
