Begin by writing a concise overview of the industry.
Highlight the nature of the industry and the historical
factors that have impacted it. In particular detail the
industry’s growth potential.
Examine the economic factors relating to the industry and
include an evaluation of the competitors and their
operations.
Look at the products and services on offer within the
industry and anything that might influence them in the
future.
Highlight factors like geographical growth, consumer base,
price fluctuations, past performances, and income
projections.
Use existing financial data and industry understanding to
forecast industry growth for the next five or ten years.
Examine analytical models such as PESTEL and any other
appropriate diagnostic tools to aid and support your views.
Lastly, give long-term and short-term valuations impacting
the industry such as any foreseeable problems impacting
the business in a negative fashion and potential corrective
measures.
