Case Usage
The case was developed and used with both undergraduate and post
graduate students on Marketing, Strategy and Finance courses. It is a
case designed to be used as an examination or coursework case or to
allow in-class work to be carried out and discussion to be developed in
general or through specific role allocation. It is a story that most people
have had some experience of and strong feeling can develop.
Students should be asked to evaluate the role Shkreli plays and the use
he makes of finance to aid the exploitation of the opportunities he
perceives in the environment.
