Ensuring that ALL kids successfully complete high
school and are fully prepared and equipped for Year
13. Whether Year 13 means college, military, or a
career, our kids will be prepared.
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination)
• 767 students enrolled
• This college preparedness program in the middle and high
schools provides the support students need to succeed in
rigorous courses.
MAC (My Achievement Center)
• 11,954 visits
• These tutoring centers located in both high schools,
available during the school day, ensure that students
get the help they need. MAC

• These clubs provide homework help and afterschool
enrichment activities with bus transportation home.
HBCU TOUR
• 1,917 miles traveled
• Students from Lawrence Central & Lawrence North
High Schools visit Historically Black Colleges &
HBCU Universities to discover possibilities for their future.
