Impact Report
2023-2024
As we reflect on another incredible year for the Lawrence Township School Foundation
(LTSF), we are filled with gratitude for YOU – our community of supporters, volunteers, and
advocates. Your commitment has enabled us to continue our mission of raising funds and
fostering community connections that support enriching educational experiences for all
Lawrence Township students.
We have much to celebrate. We honor our founders, whose vision established the foundation
for equity, access, and opportunity in our schools. We applaud the local businesses and
nonprofit organizations that understand the powerful relationship between thriving
communities and exceptional schools. And we recognize the countless individuals who
have generously given their time, talents, and treasures to fuel LTSF’s programs, ensuring our
students have the support and opportunities they need to grow, belong, and pursue their
passions.
Within these pages, you’ll find stories of transformation, impact, and empowerment. For
example, thanks to your support, LTSF funded 19 Creative Impact Grants and 38 Mini-
Grants, enabling teachers to implement unique academic and social programs tailored to
their students’ needs. You’ll also read about students whose lives have been changed by your
generosity through initiatives like the Legacy Study Trips and LTSF Scholarships. Parents,
teachers, volunteers, and community members have come together to enrich the educational
experience for every student in Lawrence Township.
We are also excited to share that in 2023-2024, LTSF welcomed our new President & CEO,
Misty Wick Johnston, who brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for education
and nonprofit management. With her leadership, we look forward to continuing to serve our
community in meaningful and impactful ways.
As we look to the future, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. With your
partnership, LTSF will continue to fund innovative programs like VEX Robotics, which took
Lawrence Township students to the World VEX Competition in Dallas, Texas. This “no limits”
philosophy drives us forward, shaping every initiative and decision we make.
We invite you to join us on this ongoing journey of growth, as we work to unlock the full
potential of every student in Lawrence Township. Thank you for your continued support and
dedication. We hope you find inspiration in the impact stories and successes within this report.
Together, we believe that no challenge is too great, no obstacle too daunting, and no dream
too big. There are No Limits When We Work Together!
With gratitude,
Craig Willey Misty Wick Johnston
