NEW FGMA-BIRDS
Jaime Palomo joined us in May as a Principal in our Municipal Practice. He
has jumped right in by leading projects, drawing upon his wide network to
find new opportunities, and serving as Chair of the Austin office’s ad hoc
Social Committee. Jaime was recently honored by being appointed as one
of three panelists to assist the Texas State Preservation Board and the Joint
Oversight Committee on Government Facilities to review and approve
proposed building designs for Phase 2 of Austin’s Capitol Complex
Expansion Project.
Also joining us in May was Interior Designer Ashley Wells, who relocated
from Chesapeake, VA to Austin just in time for record-breaking summer
temperatures. She brought along project experience in three of our
practices – Municipal, PK-12, and Higher Education - and has quickly
become involved in many of our projects, business development efforts,
and a few remaining decisions on the new Austin office.
Steve Hafer is a multi-generational Texan and a leader in the Texas PK-12
Education marketplace. He joined FGMA in July as an Education Principal,
with a primary focus on PK-12. He has been working closely with Rich
DePalma in developing strategies to make FGMA a key player in the Texas
PK-12 world. Steve also assisted FGMA in finding and setting up our new
Fort Worth office and is splitting his time between there and Austin on a
weekly basis.
Hailing from Colombia, Eric Polo Rosales graduated with his Bachelors in
Architecture from the Universidad de la Costa and Masters from the
University of Texas at San Antonio. He joined FGMA in August and has
been working most recently on the Cornerstone Church Education
Building and the Jersey Village Golf Clubhouse projects.
