Building on a more than fifteen-year relationship, Neal Roseberry and Robert Celio in collaboration with
Scott Long Construction hosted the 2022 Building on Purpose (BOP) seminar. BOP is a seminar created
for church leaders to better understand what is involved in the design process, and how to design new or
renovated facilities to better fit their ministry needs. The seminar was hosted in person at the new
Alexandria Presbyterian Church designed by FGMA and built by Scott Long Construction.
As the first public opportunity to promote the merger of LEWA and FGMA, members of the Reston and
Oakbrook offices joined together at the Station Design Conference in Rosemont, Illinois. In addition to
presentations on improving the health, safety and wellness of firefighters through fire station design
Christopher Kehde, Katie Atwater and Paul Erickson also led 1-on-One sessions with fire department
leaders to discuss their current and future design needs.
