Continuing to build our credentials as national thought leaders in the design of public safety facilities,
Christopher Kehde, Katie Atwater and Paul Erickson were invited to speak at the 2022 FIERO Fire Station
Design Symposium in Greenville, SC. As a kick-off to the conference, Christopher Kehde and Katie
Atwater presented “Train As You Play, Maximizing Training Flexibility and Incorporating Health, Safety,
and Well Being in Training Facility Design” during the Pre-Conference. Additional presentations included
“Don’t Settle for Less, Design for Joy” presented by Paul Erickson and Raegan Porter and “Decon Now:
Designing for Exposure Reduction and Contaminant Control” presented by Christopher Kehde and Katie
Atwater.
