David Salem David earned his B.S. in Architecture from Eastern Mediterranean
University of Cyprus and went on to Italy for an M.S. Architecture degree from
Polytechnic of Milan. David moved to the U.S. to join his family who had earlier
relocated in the Dallas area. David spent 3 years in Texas working on a variety of
projects at Parkway Construction & Architecture and worked as Project
Coordinator at Davis Carter Scott/DCS Design before joining FGMA.
Joyce George As the latest addition to the team, Joyce is the Reston Office
Manager. “I’ve found that being an Office Manager gives me energy and allows
me to use my strengths while being flexible enough to pivot for exciting ad-hoc
assignments. One of the reasons I’m so passionate about my role is because
seemingly mundane administrative tasks make a big impact office wide.” Joyce’s
varied experience includes serving as office manager for a church and telehealth
company; she’s also worked as a teacher and paralegal.
Retirement . . .
Jared Willcox joined LeMay Erickson Willcox Architects in 1995 and became a Principal of the firm in
1998. He was the Director of the Development Studio for the last 17
years and led our Mixed-Use practice sector since 2014.
Jared served on LEWA’s Board of Directors, and as a liaison to the
larger northern Virginia community as well as numerous regional
planning boards, committees, and commissions. Most recently (2016-
2019), he served as Chair of the Reston Planning and Zoning
Committee.
Jared relocated to Florida in 2021with Deborah, his wife and source of
inspiration.
We recognize and value Jared’s dedication and leadership to the firm and wish him the best in his
retirement!
