Textile neckpiece: Golden Light
I love sinking into the colours of
Autumn, all those golds and rusts and
reds. This neckpiece uses a repeated
shape that originated as an earring
design, each gradually getting smaller
toward the back of the necklace. The
textile shapes are interspersed with
crystal beads, and embellished with
gold thread and smaller amber beads.
The finished piece sends me right back
to standing beneath Canadian maple
trees, bathed in golden light.
