2.1.3 ORGANIZATION BACKGROUND

Murtadha Dakwah Center was established in early January 2018 in Kampung Teluk

Sungai Petani Kedah and is known as "Darul Murtadha Dakwah Centre". Darul

Murtadha Dakwah Centre was founded by the late Ustaz Murtadha Yusof. Later, this
dakwah center was continued by his younger brother, Ustaz Mohammad Yaakub

Yusra who took over the management for the development and education operations
which is now known as Murtadha Dakwah Centre (MADAD).

MADAD has now entered its 5th year of operation, further developing with various

ongoing projects including Maahad Integrasi Madad, Islamic Community Centre,
MADADCARE, Cat House, Burger Syukor MADAD, Ramadhan Program as well as

Agriculture and Aquaculture. MADAD now not only focuses on welfare activities but
has also expanded in the business sector.

Murtadha Dakwah Centre is also known for its knowledge events suitable for various
levels of society. Programs that are "up-to-date" in line with current trends make this

approach considered successful when the visitors who attend are from those that

MADAD targets in a program.

The development and plan of Murtadha Dakwah Centre (MADAD) is still categorized

in the early stages of planning. Many more developments and plans have been drawn
up to make MADAD the "Primary Reference Centre for Education and Welfare" for

the community.
