Disaster Relief
On February 6, 2023, Turkey was struck by two devastating earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaras. These earthquakes have been dubbed as the “disaster of the century,” and caused thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries and homeless people.
In response to this tragedy, the UICT Association has launched a relief campaign to help those affected by the earthquake. The aim of the campaign is to provide support and assistance to the affected individuals and their families. As an international organisation, we are committed to helping those in need, regardless of their location.
With the start of the Blessed Month of Ramadhan on 24 March 2023, the UICT will be providing Iftaar (breaking of fasting at sunset) on a daily basis to 4 000 people across 4 different locations in Kirikhan, Hatay.
