The next step of the localization process was to align the SDGs to city strategy, this took the form of the SDG/IDP alignment. The eight- point plan which forms the foundation of the city’s strategy was aligned to each of the most relevant SDGs. We note that the SDGs are interrelated and interdependent and the alignment illustration below highlights the transversal impact of the global goals on the city strategy.
