Graduation by Major Field of Study
Figure 15 illustrates the distribution of graduates by major field of study in 2023. Most graduates (44%) were in the Business/Commerce field, while SET had 35% and the Humanities had 15% of the graduates. In comparison to 2022, there was a 1% decrease in the number of both Business/Commerce and SET graduates, an 1% increase Education and Humanities graduates. In 2023, among the total of 3,466 Business/Commerce graduates, 2,260 (65%) were female, which is consistent with that achieved in 2022.

Graduates as a percentage of enrolments within the field of the study is represented in Figure 16. Business/Commerce and SET dominated the number of graduates, although these fields experienced a slight decrease from 47% to 44% and 40% to 35%, respectively, over the past three years. Conversely, the number of graduates in Humanities increased from 10% to 15%, and in Education from 3% to 6%, over the same period.
