Ms Phumzile Goodness Xulu is an Engagement Practitioner under the office of the DVC: RIE Her vision is to build an agenda for genuine social change that is bottom-up; multi-sectoral and driven by organized civil society with the full exercise of human rights entrenched in the Constitution.
Her areas of interest are research, advocacy, and litigation for human rights. also interested in advocacy work on the urban plan, design, and development that is inclusive of all urban dwellers.
Mr Someleze Diko a DUT graduate and young individual that is passionate about upskilling people from different communities using the different technologies at his disposal through being involved with initiatives that upskill and empower people. Today, he is an M365 and Power Platform Cloud Advocate at Microsoft focusing on upskilling students and communities through the Microsoft Power Platform.

Mr Cassim Vanker
Mr Cassim Vanker is a committed academic lecturer, software developer, and researcher at the Durban University of Technology. He has nineteen years of experience in the teaching and learning environment and previously worked as a software developer. For the past five years, he has been managing interns and software developers, client expectations, timelines, and budgets at the DUT AppFactory. Cassim is also a recipient of a commendation by HELTSA CHE for his contribution to the field of teaching and learning.
