Data on pass rates by gender show that female students on average performed 10% better than their male counterparts. The notable difference is in the Faculty of Science and Agriculture, where female students are performing above 11% compared to male students, while the difference in the other faculties does not deviate significantly from the overall difference.

Data in Diagram 15 is consonant with the analysis in Diagram 13, which shows that pass rates at the undergraduate level were predominantly high across the faculties. It is worth noting that the highest pass rate among these were the four-year first bachelor’s degrees between 82% and 88%, while the pass rate for the three-year first bachelor’s degrees was 83% on average. The highest past rates were in the PGCE and diploma (360) at 93% and 88% respectively.
