Mr Olusegun Adigun Afolabi

Olusegun Adigun Afolabi is a final year PhD student of Mechanical Engineering at the Durban University of Technology (DUT).
He obtained his Bachelor of Technology and Master of Science at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and University of Ibadan, Nigeria respectively. His research interests are composite and bio-composites materials, sandwich, and hybrid composite, material density and specific properties. His PhD work is on hybrid syntactic foam based
natural-glass fiber sandwich composites for structural applications. He has four publications in DHET accredited journals and has presented papers at several conferences both local and international. He has assisted as contract staff at the Mechanical, and Electrical Power Engineering Department at DUT for over four years.
