On the day before a comet is predicted to hit the earth, Jae-hee and Su-in, who have different disabilities, walk in the park they always wanted to visit and have a more peaceful time than ever. Just like that, they spend the most ordinary day on the last day of the world. With the end of the world gradually approaching, they climb to higher ground, embracing the moment of extinction. Neither the soft sea nor the starry universe is beyond their reach. For them, today is a new beginning, not an end.
A young woman with cerebral palsy decides to hire a sex worker to experience her first sexual encounter. The initial engagement is awkward, and the sex worker is initially reluctant to accept the offer. After spending their first night together it becomes a life defining moment for both of them. The first encounter brings far more to the pair than initially expected. The young woman explores her sexuality, and the sex worker is faced with her own sense of humanity. The resulting intimacy and complicity present an oft neglected portrayal of intimate relationship beyond the conventional trope.
After the loss of their mother, Akhona and their father attempt to find a middle ground between their diverse ways of grieving. Lihle copes with his grief by forging his way through life as usual whilst his child Akhona takes time to live in the memory through escapism using an imaginary cloud-like realm where they can still be with her. After seeing their father express his pain when thinking Akhona is not there, Akhona comes to the realization that they should not let the past cloud their present and opens to their father allowing them to share their grief.
