IDEATION PROGRAMME GRADUATION
On the 4th of September 2023, CSERI handed over certificates of completion to the 15 entrepreneurs who had completed our Ideation programme. These entrepreneurs had worked hard to learn the skills and knowledge they needed to start and grow their businesses. We were confident that they would be successful in their future endeavors. The event had been attended by two of our Centre for Social
Entrepreneurship alumni, Ms. Siphokazi Manci, founder of Cake Siphosh, and Mr. Mpendulo Makhanya, founder of Coast Petroleum. They had shared their incubation experience and wisdom about being a successful entrepreneur.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
WORKSHOP
As a Business Incubator, we understand that behind every successful business, there is a person who is constantly growing and evolving. On the 13th of September 2023, we hosted a personal development session for entrepreneurs, facilitated by Karen Burt, a transformational life coach and speaker with 25 years of experience. Karen started the session with breathing exercises to help participants relax and focus. She then talked about the importance of balancing life and business, mental wellness, negative thoughts, purpose, and more. The entrepreneurs engaged in the discussion and walked away feeling more confident and ready to tackle their challenges.
