DURBAN UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY
THE CENTRE HOSTED AN INDUCTION AND WELCOMED 50 NEW ENTREPRENEURS INTO THE 2024/2025 COHORT
April 9th, the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship welcomed the inaugural cohort of 50 entrepreneurs for the 2024/2025 incubation programme. This year-long programme offers a comprehensive package of support services, including training, networking, mentorship, and access to finance.
SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME GRADUATION
The Centre graduated 14 entrepreneurs from the Supplier Development Programme. This initiative was a collaboration between CSERI and the Durban University of Technology (DUT) Procurement Department. Businesses underwent comprehensive training in various business aspects and received R60,000 funding each for business development. All these businesses serve as suppliers to the university.
As a Centre we are proud of our partnership with the DUT Procurement Department in equipping and training these exceptional entrepreneurs. This six-month programme aimed not only to supply DUT but also to empower these businesses to excel as partners for any company. With newly acquired skills and knowledge, these graduates are now poised to elevate their businesses to new heights.
