CENTRE ENTREPRENEURS SHINE AT HOLLYWOOD BAMBELELA BUSINESS AWARDS!
Two of our very own entrepreneurs, Luhyezi Farms and Accra Group, have reached the prestigious top 20 at the Hollywood Bambelela Business Awards and received funding of R30 000 each! This achievement is particularly impressive considering the fierce competition – over 320 entrepreneurs participated in the KwaZulu Natal Bambelela Business Awards programme.
The Bambelela Business Awards celebrate and empower small businesses that contribute significantly to South Africa’s economic growth and transformation. The program offered participating entrepreneur’s valuable resources, including workshops, seminars, exhibitions, pitching opportunities, and a culminating gala dinner. Reaching the top 20 at the Hollywood Bambelela Business Awards is a testament to the dedication and innovation of Luhyezi Farms and Accra Group.
NDUDUZO NDABA SELECTED FOR PRESTIGIOUS MANDELA WASHINGTON FELLOWSHIP!
Nduduzo Ndaba, founder of Chazz Geotechnical Service and Grilling and a participant in our incubation programme, was selected for the prestigious Mandela Washington Fellowship! Out of a highly competitive pool of applicants from across the African continent, only 700 individuals were chosen for this transformative programme. The Mandela Washington Fellowship provided young African leaders with the opportunity to broaden their horizons and deepen their expertise. The program offered participants industry exploration, advanced training, collaboration opportunities, and promoted growth.
The Mandela Washington Fellowship aimed to strengthen democratic governance, enhance peace and security, and propel both Africa and the United States towards prosperity. Nduduzo departed for the USA, embarking on a six-month journey of learning, growth, and collaboration. We at the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship extended our heartfelt congratulations to Nduduzo on this remarkable achievement.
